BUYING A DOOR

So, you’ve made the decision to buy a new, or replace your existing garage door.

There are just a few steps involved, and there’s always someone available to give you advice, if you run into trouble.

STEP 1:

STEP 5:

Enjoy your new door and opener once your door is installed – enjoy! Should you have any concerns after installation, your first point of call should be the dealer who installed the door.

Blocking or removing a page from appearing on the search results in Google may or may not be the option for all of us. Sometimes, we just need to remove certain section of the existing content, and not the entire page. But we can’t predict when that particular section will go off from the search results. 1. Wait for search engines bot and Watch

Provided that you have enough patience, you can wait day after day until Google crawler visits that particular page and re-indexes it. However, if the website is regularly visited by Google bot, it might not take such painfully long time. Make sure that the page is not blocked by robots.txt file.

2. Google's Public URL Removal Tool

In case, if you are not the owner of the website that has been modified, you can use Google's public URL removal tool. You need to submit the exact URL of the page that has been modified lately. Then select the option “Content has been removed from the page”, and do not forget to specify some words (e.g. 'sexual addiction') that have been removed from that particular page altogether. But be sure to choose a word or some words that does not appear anywhere in the page, otherwise your request will be liable for cancellation.

However, if the page is returning a 404 or 410 HTTP result code or if the entire page goes missing, it is better off to request to remove the page altogether.

3.  Use Google Webmaster Tools URL

If you are a verified owner of a website in Google Webmaster Tools account, you can use URL removal tool to request removal of a page that has been modified. Go to "Site Configuration > Crawler access", and then submit your request.

Proactive Measures

To prevent search engines from showing snippet of a particular page, you can use “nosnippet” in the robots meta tag section. You can disable caching of a page by using "noarchive" robots meta tag. However, search engines have to re-index and re-crawl a particular page otherwise these things will never come into effect.

How to prevent from the attack

There are two clues that your WordPress site has been attacked.

There are strange additions to the pretty permalinks, such as

example.com/category/post-title/%&(%7B$%7Beval(base64_decode($_SERVER%5BHTTP_REFERER%5D))%7D%7D|.+)&%/.The keywords are “eval” and “base64_decode.”

The second clue is that a “back door” was created by a “hidden” Administrator. Check your site users for “Administrator (2)” or a name you do not recognize. You will probably be unable to access that account.

If your Wordpress blog has been attacked

This attack is critical and it hacks the database - going very deep. Exporting your database doesn't help at all.

Here's the steps to take if your blog has been affected

1. Export all your content with the built-in XML WordPress export.
2. Back up all your images, CSS, Javascripts and general files. (Everything within your themes folder)
3. Install the latest version of Wordpress blog on the new database (don't re-install on your old database - the hack code will be there)
4. Add the “clean” backup of your WordPress Theme
5. Re-import your XML exported content (that will contain your posts, Pages, and comments)

The Geneva-based International Coalition for the Advancement of Religious and Spirituality (ICARUS) has bestowed "The Best Religion In the World" award this year on the Buddhist Community.

This special award was voted on by an international round table of more than 200 religious leaders from every part of the spiritual spectrum. It was fascinating to note that many religious leaders voted for Buddhism rather than their own religion although Buddhists actually make up a tiny minority of ICARUS membership. Here are the comments by four voting members:

Jonna Hult, Director of Research for ICARUS said "It wasn't a surprise to me that Buddhism won Best Religion in the World, because we could find literally not one single instance of a war fought in the name of Buddhism, in contrast to every other religion that seems to keep a gun in the closet just in case God makes a mistake. We were hard pressed to even find a Buddhist that had ever been in an army. These people practice what they preach to an extent we simply could not document with any other spiritual tradition."

A Catholic Priest, Father Ted O'Shaughnessy said from Belfast , "As much as I love the Catholic Church, it has always bothered me to no end that we preach love in our scripture yet then claim to know God's will when it comes to killing other humans. For that reason, I did have to cast my vote for the Buddhists."

A Muslim Cleric Tal Bin Wassad agreed from Pakistan via his translator. "While I am a devout Muslim, I can see how much anger and bloodshed is channeled into religious expression rather than dealt with on a personal level. The Buddhists have that figured out." Bin Wassad, the ICARUS voting member for Pakistan 's Muslim community continued,

"In fact, some of my best friends are Buddhist."

And Rabbi Shmuel Wasserstein said from Jerusalem, "Of course, I love Judaism, and I think it's the greatest religion in the world. But to be honest, I've been practicing Vipassana meditation every day before minyan (daily Jewish prayer) since 1993. So I get it."

However, there was one snag - ICARUS couldn't find anyone to give the award to. All the Buddhists they called kept saying they didn't want the award. When asked why the Burmese Buddhist community refused the award, Buddhist monk Bhante Ghurata Hanta said from Burma , "We are grateful for the acknowledgement, but we give this award to all humanity, for Buddha nature lies within each of us."

Groehlichen went on to say "We're going to keep calling around until we find a Buddhist who will accept it. We'll let you know when we do."
